Italy isn't all spaghetti and meatballs, ya know. They produce some of the world's finest goods, including this Panerai Luminor, or they used to at least. Panerai is now made in Switzerland. Anywho, way back in the 1860s, the Italian Navy needed a big dependable watch that they could see underwater and in the dark. This is what they got, and all benefited. Still admired as one of the best watches in the world, its now more jewelry for the rich (like most good watces) than tool, but if that actor or CEO ever wanted to run covert operations against the Allies, at least they know they can.
